Once you release the mouse button a menu will pop up, select the Option "Create shortcut here". To do so, open the Windows File Explorer, navigate to the TA folder, right click on the totala.exe file and drag it to the Windows Desktop (your Windows file explorer may work with the default settings so the suffix for executable files may not be displayed, in this case you would have to look for a file named "totala" rather than "totala.exe"). For running TA in windowed mode you have to launch it with the command line parameter "-d" (less the quotes).Ĭreating a shortcut to the game's executable file "totala.exe" on the Windows Desktop is probably the most convenient way to provide the required command line parameter.
